A leading General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare construction to lead complex, large-scale projects across Texas. This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of healthcare projects, including hospitals, medical centers, outpatient facilities, and specialized treatment environments, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with strict regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and overall execution strategiesOversee preconstruction efforts including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviewsManage project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staffServe as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholdersEnsure compliance with healthcare-specific codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., infection control, life safety, AHJ requirements)Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administrationIdentify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactivelyEnsure quality control and adherence to safety standards across all project phasesLead project meetings, reporting, and executive-level updatesManage change orders, cost controls, and financial reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)8–15+ years of construction project management experience, with a strong focus on healthcare projectsProven experience delivering large-scale hospital or medical facility projects ($50M+)Deep knowledge of healthcare construction standards, including infection control risk assessment (ICRA) and phased construction in active facilitiesStrong understanding of construction delivery methods (Design-Build, CMAR, Design-Bid-Build)Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
