Performance Testing Lead

*The Role:* *Job Description:* We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated *Performance Testing Lead* to take charge of our performance testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of our software systems. *Key Skills: *Organized, Submit Requests, Organized, OCP and IIS background, PING, Networking, F5, SSO, Authentication, Development, Troubleshooting, Logging *Job Responsibilities:* * Lead and manage a team of performance testers to ensure successful delivery of performance testing projects. * Develop and execute performance test strategies, plans, and test cases for software applications or systems. * Define performance testing requirements and objectives based on system specifications and user needs. * Design and configure test environments to simulate realistic user loads and scenarios. * Coordinate with development and operations teams to understand system architecture and performance requirements. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing scope, timelines, and deliverables. * Execute performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. * Monitor and analyze system performance during test execution, identifying bottlenecks, and performance issues. * Generate performance test reports and provide recommendations for performance improvements. * Mentor and provide guidance to performance testers, ensuring their professional growth and development. * Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in performance testing. * Continuously improve performance testing processes, methodologies, and tools. *Required Qualifications* * Proven experience in performance testing, load testing, or related roles. * Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools. * Experience leading and managing a team of performance testers. * Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. * Knowledge of scripting languages like Java, Python, or C# for test script development. * Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace. * Understanding of web technologies, protocols, and architectures (HTTP, REST, SOAP, etc.). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot performance issues. * Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide the team and collaborate with stakeholders. * Certifications in performance testing or related areas (e.g., ISTQB Performance Testing Certification) are a plus. *Performance Testing Skills: (REQUIRED)* * Load testing * Stress testing * Spike testing * Endurance testing * Volume testing * Understand Latency * Understand Throughput * Best Practices for Reporting measurements * Web UI performance testing * API performance testing * Performance testing Profiling *Performance Tools:* * JMeter (preferred) * LoadRunner * Neo Load * Any other performance testing tool…. *Programming Languages:* * Java (Preferred) * C# * Groovy * Others are fine for basic coding. *Additional Skills:* * Dynatrace (Required) * Log Scale * Regular Expression Evaluation * Jira Job Type: Contract Pay: $69,689.03 - $121,530.91 per year Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application Question(s): * Work on W2 Role?
