Job DetailsBusiness Analyst 1, HR Technology (Contract)Location: RemoteDuration: 5/22/2026 to 5/21/2027Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/weekTeam: HR Tech USAbout The PositionWe're seeking a Business Analyst to support HR Technology portfolio governance, Jira data integrity, and operational execution across initiatives and enhancement workstreams. This role will function as both the Jira Governance and Portfolio Hygiene lead and the HR category lead supporting company's Software Optimization program.This person will partner closely with Portfolio and Delivery leadership, Product Managers, Delivery Managers, and software governance stakeholders to maintain clean reporting, reduce operational risk, and improve visibility across HR Technology initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and enforce Jira governance standards across HR Technology initiatives and enhancementsMaintain accurate reporting for project status, milestones, risks, trends, and portfolio summariesDrive portfolio hygiene cadences to identify stale data, incomplete records, and overdue milestonesGovern enhancement intake and tracking, including Small Enhancement RequestsEnsure clear distinction between strategic initiatives, enhancement work, and operational support activitiesMaintain and improve Jira usage guidance and enhancement documentation standardsPrepare portfolio reporting and insights for executive-level review forumsLead HR category support for acompany's Software Optimization programGuide stakeholders through Nestware, Non-Standard Request (NSR), and Software Standards Committee (SSC) governance processesValidate intended software usage and document exclusions to prevent tool overlap and scope creepPartner cross-functionally with HR Tech leadership and governance bodies to drive compliant outcomesQualifications2 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience within technology or enterprise environmentsExperience supporting portfolio governance, delivery reporting, or operational process managementStrong working knowledge of Jira or similar tracking and governance platformsAbility to identify data gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and operational risksStrong written communication and documentation skillsComfortable working across multiple stakeholders and governance teamsBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceCompensationPay Rate: $50.00 to $52.79 per hourRequisition ID: 37257085
