Training shift is Monday – Friday from 5:30am to 2:00pm. Upon successful completion of training, you will be assigned to our 2nd shift.What will you do?Fabricate components to complete a project, will include cutting, welding, drilling and other techniquesAbility to work from blueprints and written specifications to meet customer requirements via MIG and TIG welding.Use various processes including cutting, welding (MIG), drilling, and possibly others to fabricate components as required to complete projectsConduct quality control checks on own work to ensure components meet required specifications and standards; perform inspections of welded joints and fabricated components to identify and rectify any defects.What are we looking for?Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment competency inSteel/Galvanneal and Alum MIG processes, TIG welding is a plusHands-on experience with cutting, drilling, and other fabrication techniquesAbility to work from blueprints and written specifications to fabricate componentsStrong understanding of safety protocols and practices in welding and fabrication environmentsMust be competent producing good welds while welding in flat and horizontal positions, uphill, downhill, and overhead weldsExperience using cutting torch and plasma cutter preferred.Ability to wear a respiratorRequired to pass a G1 weld testMust be able to perform within the established company standards, which include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, attendance, quality and performance.Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.INDMISCAt Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
