This Internship will combine coaching, site supervising, office operations, and social media takeovers. Coaches serve our kids and families by providing a safe and fun experience on the field. This is a part-time position; however, there are opportunities for continued work within the company.If you’re ready to embark on a career that will impact your life and your community while having lots of fun in the process, keep scrolling …Internship Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToOperations & OutreachSupporting program outreach and registration through various strategies, including player and volunteer recruitment, community events, and grassroots marketing.Inventory and upkeep of sports equipment and shirtsMaintain program needs, ensuring programs have supplies weeklyAssist with program audits and evaluationsAssist with planning and execution of seasonal staff training and other seasonal eventsAssist with data entry, program reports, customer service inquiries, and social media content at programs.CoachingServe as direct contact with the kids and families to ensure that they are having a safe and fun experiencePlan practice drills using the provided resources and curriculumUnderstand & lead both kids and other coaches through program drills in a FUN and engaging wayKeep the players engaged, and identify places where volunteers can fill in to prevent downtimeLead pre-game and post-game huddles that emphasize sportsmanship and mindfulnessKnow and lead the field set up and clean up each weekGuide volunteers with on-field support and explain how to get further involved.Must-HavesMust be able to come in-person to our offices and programs 2-4 Days a week in NYC.
