With strong product-market fit and continued growth, the company is scaling while maintaining a focus on reliability, security, and real-world impact.What You Will Do Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and reliable deployment workflowsImprove developer experience by reducing friction in build, test, and deployment processesDesign and operate cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code across AWS environmentsEnsure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planningOwn vulnerability management, including scanning, triaging, and remediation workflowsImplement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure, identity, and application layersLead technical efforts related to SOC 2 compliance, including audits and security assessmentsPartner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams on security and infrastructure initiativesMentor engineers on DevOps, security, and operational best practicesIdeal Background 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, security engineering, or backend infrastructure rolesStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architecturesProficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, etc.)Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)Solid understanding of security fundamentals including vulnerability management, IAM, and secure SDLCExperience operating and scaling production systems with a focus on reliability and performanceStrong communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Experience supporting SOC 2 audits or similar compliance frameworksExperience responding to enterprise customer security assessmentsFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Snyk, Trivy, Dependabot, etc.)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)Background in healthcare, regulated environments, or enterprise SaaS systemsCompensation and Benefits Base salary: $150K - $190K + 10-20% performance bonusEquity participation in an employee-owned company100% covered medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchingFlexible PTORemote-first environment with high autonomy and ownershipOpportunity to own and scale security and infrastructure for mission-critical healthcare systemsThis is a high-impact role for engineers who want to operate at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and developer experience, owning the systems that enable teams to ship quickly and securely at scale.Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000 base. https://www.recruitingfromscratch.com/
