By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair industrial robots and robotic systems in manufacturing environments.Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells and automated systems.Program and teach robot paths, points, and operations for new and existing production processes.Calibrate robot end-effectors, sensors, and vision systems to maintain accuracy and precision.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with robotic machinery and high-voltage equipment.Document maintenance activities, repairs, program changes, and performance data accurately.Recommended QualificationsAssociate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot PLC logic, HMI, and industrial control systems.Demonstrated ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and calibration.Competence in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and blueprints.Bonus QualificationsProficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).Experience troubleshooting and integrating industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing designs or minor fixture modifications.Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).Job Titles That Should ApplyRobotics Technician, Automation Technician, Robot Technician, Robotics Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Automation Technician, Robotics Field Service Technician, Automation Specialist, Robot Mechanic, Robotics Support TechnicianWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
