Sleep Clinical Coordinator

Sleep Clinical CoordinatorThe Sleep Clinical Coordinator works under the general supervision of the Administrator/Manager or designee to provide leadership to Senior Sleep Technologist, Sleep Technologist and any support staff who are working the night shift. As a working leader the Coordinator will also provide polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. The Coordinator is a role model for other staff and provides superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.Responsibilities:Supports system and departmental goals by promoting staff productivity, maintaining lab volumes and equipment, ensuring revenue generation, and enhancing patient and customer satisfaction.Serves as a key leader on night shiftresolving staff conflicts, mentoring team members, coordinating staffing based on acuity, and ensuring seamless communication across shifts.Oversees lab readiness by conducting safety drills, orienting staff to new protocols and equipment, monitoring education completion, and supporting accreditation efforts.Acts as a clinical resourceregularly working shifts, covering call-ins/vacations, and providing direct patient care including data acquisition, PAP titration, and emergency interventions.Leads onboarding and ongoing education effortsdevelops training programs, precepts students, orients new hires, and ensures staff competency through evaluation and mentorship.Performs and scores sleep studies according to established protocols, interprets physiologic data, documents events, ensures patient safety, and maintains compliance with regulatory and professional standards.Required Qualifications:Current CPR or BCLS certification.Current NYS authorization as a Polysomnographic Technologist & RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).ORNYS LPN, RN or Respiratory Therapist LicensurePreferred Qualifications:3-5 years' relevant experience preferredLeadership experience in a Sleep LabAssociate or Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Leadership or associated field of study.Physical Requirements:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.Pay Range: $24.00 - $36.00City: RochesterPostal Code: 14618Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
