Key ResponsibilitiesPerformcomprehensive patient assessmentsand continuous monitoring
Develop, implement, and evaluateindividualized care plans
Managelife-threatening conditionsincluding respiratory failure, cardiac instability, and multi-system complications
Interpret and respond tocardiac arrhythmias and emergency situations
Maintain airway, ventilation, andhemodynamic stability
Assist withtemporary pacemaker insertionand patient transport as needed
Ensure compliance withAACN standards and hospital protocols
Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum2+ years of ICU and/or PCU experience
Strong knowledge ofcritical care protocols and emergency response
Ability to work in ahigh-acuity, fast-paced environment
Comfortable managingcardiac drips, vents, and critical monitoring systems
✅ RequirementsActivePennsylvania RN License
CurrentBLS & ACLS certifications(assumed standard for ICU roles)
Must maintain all required competencies and certificationsFacility: Mount Nittany Health
Bed Size: 150–500 beds
