Job DescriptionAssociate Technical Training Program Manager, ServiceThe Associate Manager - Technical Training is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of advanced technical training programs that enable technician capability and technical support to support product performance and service readiness.This position is responsible for developing & delivering high-impact training focused on:Electrical diagnosticsMechanical aptitudeDiagnostic troubleshootingTool platform knowledgeRepair execution and quality controlThis role drives end-to-end training program management, aligning training initiatives to NPD, and ensuring scalable, standardized training across service network while upholding Milwaukee Tool’s standards for durability, performance, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Development & DeliveryOwn and manage technical training programs or product platforms end-to-endConduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and prioritize program developmentDevelop and deliver multi-level training pathways (entry through advanced, including certification programs)Develop comprehensive curriculum including job aids, manuals, diagnostics workflows, and assessmentsTechnical ExpertiseServe as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned product categories or systemsApply advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair methodologiesDemonstrate best practices in troubleshooting and repair executionCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Service OperationsAlign training programs with new product launches and existing product updatesEnsure consistency and standardization across global training effortsContinuous ImprovementLead multiple training programs concurrentlyEstablish and track KPIs to measure training effectivenessCore CompetenciesStrategic Alignment & Business AcumenTechnical Depth & Product ExpertiseTraining Program LeadershipEffective CommunicationRequired QualificationsEducationAssociate’s degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Applied Technology, or equivalent experienceExperience3–5 years of experience in technical training, service operations, or product supportExperience leading both classroom and virtual trainingTechnical KnowledgePower tools and electromechanical systemsBattery technologies and systemsDiagnostic methods and service proceduresSkillsDevelop training modulesAnalyzes/Applies repair competency metricsApplies LMS for repair trainingCoordinates with service centers and technical support teamsLanguage RequirementFluent Spanish proficiency required, including professional-level speaking, reading, and writing to support technical training deliveryOther RequirementsAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 30–40%)Preferred QualificationsTechnical certifications relevant to product or service functionsExperience developing structured training programs or curriculaGlobal training experienceAnalysis of service performance metrics and KPIsMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
