Offering turnkey full-service gaming solutions, Accel designs, manufactures, installs, and operates gaming terminals and related equipment, including slot machines, redemption terminals, video game machines, gaming software, and amusements to authorized non-casino locations including bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, fraternal and veteran establishments as well as casinos and horse racing venues.Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Technician is tasked with cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing gaming, amusement, and related equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications. This work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled warehouse under the direction of a warehouse manager.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMove Video Gaming Terminals (slot machines), Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Devices, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areasDisassemble obsolete or damaged equipment, then test and clean removed partsInspect, test, troubleshoot, clean, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, machine parts, and associated equipmentInstall and remove locks on video gaming terminals, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, and Amusement DevicesIdentify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of productObserve all safety regulations and reports unsafe conditions to managementFollow all department, company, and state policies and proceduresQualifications2 years of electronic technical training preferred2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferredMust demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanicsProficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instrumentsAble to obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committeesVersatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmAt least 21 years of ageAbility to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming BoardPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentFrequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hearContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboardFrequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 poundsFrequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawlSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focusExposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical partsNoise level in the work environment is usually moderateBase Pay Range: $20-$24This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
