Network Project Manager

In support of their needs, we are looking for:Title: Network Technical Project Manager Location: Dublin, CAThis position is open to local candidates residing within a 40-mile radius of Dublin, CA. Relocation is not accepted.Top Skills:Working knowledge of Network, Storage, Oracle, Windows/Solaris/Linux Servers would be preferable.Infrastructure delivery (Storage, Servers, Databases, Network) to projects.Essential Functions:Looking for a service delivery Lead. This candidate will interface with pm on the business side.Negotiate agreement on project schedule and budgetsDevelop and maintain the detailed ,technical project planManage multiple complex projects independently and concurrentlyManage project status report, issues, action items, change log , internal and external dependencies etcFacilitate project status meetings, requirements and design discussionsDevelop implementation solutions that align with strategic direction and standardsManage risk issues and participate in the application of the risk management processDevelop and sustain strong working relationships with client project team staffDemonstrate the application of approved project management methods and business methodsMay develop and execute user training plansCoordinate the collection and validation of Architectural and Engineering requirements and feasibility assessmentsExperience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phasesDetermine the impact of current/existing technologies on the project and communicate impact to sponsorsManage the overall resource capacity (supply) and scheduled work (demand) for the delivering organization including forecasting and impact assessmentManage project close-out activitiesDevelop and conduct post-implementation review and lessons learnedAccountable for Infrastructure delivery (Storage, Servers, Databases, Network) to projectsBasic Qualifications:8 or more years of project management experience required and solid knowledge of infrastructure delivery processes.4 year degree in related field or equivalent experiencePMP certification requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint , and Project Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePointWorking knowledge of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration.Understand and applies knowledge of change management process on projectsWorking knowledge of Network, Storage, Oracle, Windows/Solaris/Linux Servers would be preferable.About Maxonic:Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
