Facilities Technician II, Maintenance (Nights)

About This Role The Facilities Technician II, Maintenance supports the reliable operation of plant utility systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical utility systems that support cGMP areas and controlled spaces. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and continuous facility operations.Shift Details:12-hour shiftsNights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMRotating 2-2-3 scheduleWhat You'll DoOperate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant utility systems, including:Medium-pressure boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressorsReverse Osmosis (RO), USP water systems, water softeners, WFI stills, and clean steam generatorsNitrogen and compressed gas delivery systemsElectrical systems, including lightingFire monitoring and sprinkler systemsHEPA certifications, biosafety cabinets, and parts washersRespond to alarms for cGMP areas and controlled spaces and provide appropriate communication and escalationPerform basic HVAC-R alarm response and coordination (stability chambers, freezers, cold rooms)Offload, inspect, operate, maintain, and respond to alarms or spills related to hazardous waste tank systemsMonitor mechanical spaces for leaks, local alarms, and system abnormalities across all buildingsSupport hazardous waste handling and process waste streams in compliance with site and regulatory requirementsUse LogCheck or similar tools to complete daily inspections and documentationAuthor and update SOPs and preventive maintenance (PM) proceduresWho You AreA safety-focused facilities professional with a strong understanding of industrial utility systems, comfortable working in regulated cGMP environments with a high attention to detail.
