Description:(Internal Title: Implementation Coordinator)Location: Hybrid or Remote (Exeter, NH or South Burlington, VT preferred)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleCobalt Benefits Group (CBG) is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the successful onboarding of new clients onto our self-funded benefit platforms. In this role, youll partner closely with Sales, Account Management, and internal operational teams to ensure a smooth, accurate, and timely implementation experience for our clients.This is a highly collaborative, detail-oriented position that blends project coordination, client communication, and process execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple timelines, working cross-functionally, and engaging directly with client stakeholders.This role is eligible for hybrid or fully remote work, depending on candidate location and business needs.What Youll DoCoordinate and drive implementation activities across multiple internal teams and external partnersCreate, manage, and maintain implementation project plans, timelines, and tracking documentationGather, document, and validate customer requirements to ensure accurate product and service setupProactively identify risks or issues and partner with stakeholders to drive timely resolutionFacilitate implementation kick-off activities, including preparation of tools and documentationLead or support client-facing meetings and presentations related to onboarding and implementationTrack action items, follow-ups, and implementation milestones to keep projects on scheduleCustomize and maintain department-specific documentation and templatesBuild strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and client contactsSupport continuous improvement of implementation processes and standardsPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:What Were Looking For2+ years of experience in health insurance implementation or a closely related benefits/insurance roleExperience working directly with clients on complex initiativesKnowledge of self-funded health plans and related services (TPA, claims administration, HSAs, FSAs, COBRA, etc.)Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable presenting to client management and facilitating meetingsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with web-based tools and documentation systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teamsAssociates degree or equivalent relevant industry experienceWillingness to travel up to 10% during peak implementation periodsTechnical writing experience is a plusWhy Join Cobalt Benefits Group?Cobalt Benefits Group is a trusted third-party administrator specializing in self-funded benefit plans.
