You'll support a diverse caseload of around 40 students, ensuring their physical therapy needs are met through a blend of direct intervention and consultative services.Key Qualifications:Valid Physical Therapy license for CaliforniaPrevious experience in school-based settings strongly preferredSkilled in delivering PT services to students ages 3-18Effective communication abilities for collaborating with staff and familiesStrong organizational skills to manage a multi-site caseloadFamiliarity with IEP processes and documentationRole Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansDeliver direct and consultative PT services in both general and special education environmentsCollaborate with teachers, related service providers, and caregivers to support student goalsTravel between up to seven schools within the district as neededDocument progress and actively participate in IEP meetingsOffer training, resources, and support to educational staff regarding students' physical needsEnsure PT interventions are delivered consistently and effectively across all assigned schoolsThis unique opportunity allows you to build meaningful relationships with students and educators while helping students maximize their functional independence.
