Journeyman Engineer- SQL Database and Web Application Development

*Job Overview* *Secret Clearance is required*. Advanced Integrated Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Engineer to support engineering and technical efforts associated with Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Fiber Optic Engineering & Operations Branch (A31). The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining SQL databases and web-based applications, along with familiarity with Navy shipboard fiber optic systems. Candidates currently supporting or located near NSWCDD are preferred, but this is not a requirement. Open to a remote workspace position. *Desired Technical Skills* * Experience designing, developing, and maintaining *SQL databases.* * Experience developing and supporting *web applications.* * Ability to develop tools and applications for organizing, managing, querying, and presenting technical engineering data. * Experience working in a DoW, Navy, shipboard, or engineering-support environment is desirable. * Familiarity with NSWCDD engineering organizations and processes is a plus *Requirements* * Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an *engineering, scientific, or technical discipline*. * Minimum of five *(5) years of specialized experience in an engineering, scientific, or technical field.* * At least *one (1) year of experience with Navy Shipboard Fiber Optic Cable Plants (FOCP).* * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and work effectively within cross-functional teams dedicated to innovative system solutions. *What We Are Looking For* The strongest candidate will combine the required Navy FOCP background with practical software-development skills, particularly *SQL/database development and web application development. *The individual should be comfortable working with engineers and technical personnel to translate operational or engineering needs into useful database and web-based tools.
