The Class A CDL Driver I is responsible for operating and maintaining a delivery truck and trailer.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in morning safe start meetings.Safely load and transport material to/from customers as instructed by supervisor. Ensure all delivery paperwork is complete and accurate.Load/unload of delivery truck ensuring products on delivery ticket match products loaded.Comply with all maintenance and preventative maintenance requirementsComplete daily log/mileage books accurately and legiblyCompany liaison providing excellent customer service and on time deliveriesProvide accurate, detailed, timely paperwork and reports to managementExemplary 5S standards to keep vehicle clean and ensure safe work area.Complete pre-operation checklist on truck prior to usePrep and package material for delivery.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Perform other duties as required or assignedExperience, Education, & License RequirementsClass A CDLOverhead crane experience2- 3 years OTR experienceSkills & AbilitiesMust be able to pass a driver’s background checkAbility to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Ability to prioritize and use time efficientlyGood eye-hand coordinationBasic math skillsCompetenciesTeamworkCommunicationCustomer focusTime ManagementIntegrity & trustContinuous improvementAdaptabilityAccountabilityAttention to DetailEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
