Junior Lighting Designer

Coronet currently has an opportunity for a Junior Lighting Designer on-site in our Totowa, NJ location. This role offers hands‑on experience with concept sketches, 3D modeling, AGI photometric analysis, and design documentation—perfect for someone ready to develop strong technical and design foundations.Responsibilities: Produce concept sketches, 3D models, and design intent drawings for custom lighting solutionsAssist in the development lighting design concepts, documentation, and deliverables for each projectPrepare and support illustrated lighting design presentations fMaintain design standards and consistency across custom workRevise drawings based on customer input and senior designer feedbackUtilize AGI32 to photometrically model and test designsSupport the sales team by assisting in educating specifiers on product capabilities and design applicationsExperience:BS in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or a related field (preferred)Ability to read and interpret architectural drawingsExperience with AutoCADExperience working in a team environment to solve complex design or technical problemsPrior lighting design experienceExperience with AGI32DIALux experience is a plusAbout Coronet Lighting- Coronet LED is a U.S.-based manufacturer of architectural-grade lighting fixtures, proudly delivering innovative, energy-efficient solutions with industry-leading short lead times.
