This role supports daily legal operations by preparing, organizing, and tracking legal documents related to process service and skip tracing. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting affidavits and other routine legal paperwork, maintaining accurate case files and databases, and updating case status in internal systems. The Legal Administrative Assistant will communicate with attorneys, process servers, and internal team members to confirm service details, clarify instructions, and resolve basic inquiries. Additional tasks include scheduling, data entry, document scanning, copying, and filing, as well as assisting with general office administration to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with internal procedures.Qualifications Knowledge of law and familiarity with legal processes, with an ability to understand basic legal terminology and procedures.Skills in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing affidavits and other standard legal forms for accuracy and completeness.Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with attorneys, vendors, and colleagues.Administrative assistance and organizational skills, including scheduling, file management, data entry, and maintaining orderly case records.High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive legal information.Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort working with databases or case management systems.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Prior experience in a legal office, process service, or related administrative role is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in legal studies, criminal justice, or a related field is a plus.
