SERVER
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Full time (seasonal)
The Server is responsible for giving exceptional service to the members and guests in all Food and
Beverage outlets. This position requires a positive personality and attitude, a flexible work schedule, and excellent customer service skills.
Greet and seat guests
Use of a POS (point of sale) System frequently
Maintain order and cleanliness in all F&B outlets
Assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained
Create a desirable dining atmosphere through attitude, appearance, and knowledgeable service
Ability to learn the golf course quickly
Be flexible and willing to help in all facets of the operation as directed by the managerial staff
Ensure a high level of customer service is performed
Skills
Attention to detail
Having a flexible schedule. 40-hour work week and available on weekends, holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overtime
Comfortable with standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift objects usually 50 lbs or less
Ability to work in a group environment
Willing to work in a variety of outdoor conditions throughout the season
Education/Experience
Any persons over the age of 18 and has a valid Driver’s License
Those applying for busser positions may be 16+
Must have or plan to obtain an ABC license
Serving experience preferred but not required
Applicants with bartending experience are highly considered for hiring
Hourly rate (based on experience) + commission. $14-20/hour.
Compensation package also includes team uniforms, an employee appreciation fund (end of season), scholarship opportunities, and meals while on duty.
