Director, Facilities and Deployment OperationsSeries A Robotics Company – Denver, CO $150-$200,000 + EquityPosition OverviewThe Director of Facilities & Deployment Operations will play a critical role in executing the first large-scale system deployments and establishing the operational foundation for long-term growth.Reporting to the COO, this individual will be responsible for deployment execution, field service operations, and facilities management, ensuring systems are installed, commissioned, and maintained to the highest standards. This is a highly hands-on role for an operator who thrives in complex, multi-site environments and is comfortable working across construction, robotics, and service operations. This role will be instrumental in helping our client transition from prototype environments to fully operational, customer-facing deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesDeployment & Installation ExecutionSupport end-to-end planning and execution of automated parking system deployments across multiple urban sitesCoordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetTrack project schedules, milestones, and risks, escalating issues proactively to the COOHelp establish repeatable deployment playbooks and best practices as the company scalesField Service & System OperationsBuild and manage day-to-day field operations supporting installed systemsDevelop preventive maintenance programs across AGV robotics, elevator systems, and supporting hardwareSupport uptime targets by coordinating rapid response to system issues and ensuring proper escalation protocolsPartner with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous system improvementFacilities ManagementOversee operations of Denver-based test facility and future operational sitesEnsure readiness of physical infrastructure to support system testing, staging, and deployment activitiesManage vendors and service providers supporting facilities and operational readinessMaintain safety, compliance, and operational standards across all locationsSupply Chain & Logistics CoordinationSupport coordination with global manufacturing partners and suppliers to align delivery timelines with deployment schedulesAssist in managing logistics, inventory, and staging of hardware components for installationTrack material readiness across projects to ensure no delays in deployment executionQualificationsRequired7–12+ years of experience in operations, deployment, field service, or facilities managementExperience supporting or leading installation and deployment of complex systems (robotics, industrial equipment, building systems, or similar)Background working in multi-site, field-based environments with coordination across contractors and internal teamsStrong operational mindset with the ability to manage timelines, logistics, and competing prioritiesExperience working cross-functionally with engineering and technical teamsPreferredExperience in robotics, automation, material handling, or industrial systemsExposure to construction environments or building systems integrationExperience supporting system uptime, maintenance, or service operationsFamiliarity with early-stage or high-growth company environmentsNice to HaveExperience with global supply chains or hardware logisticsExposure to commercial real estate or infrastructure deployment projectsWhat Success Looks LikeSuccessful execution of initial deployments across NYC and Nashville marketsStrong coordination across contractors, suppliers, and internal teamsSystems deployed on time with clear operational processes and minimal disruptionEstablishment of repeatable deployment and service playbooks
