Lead Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Tech Lead to drive the architecture and development of our core product. You will blend frontend expertise with deep backend knowledge to build scalable, distributed systems. You will lead a team of engineers, conducting code reviews, mentoring, and setting best practices for development.ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Development: Lead design and development of scalable microservices, ensuring high performance in a distributed environment.Full-Stack Ownership: Develop robust front-end user interfaces using React.js and maintain reliable back-end services using Python.Data Pipeline & ETL: Design and maintain high-throughput ETL data pipelines.Database Management: Optimize queries, schema design, and performance for Postgres (relational) and StarRocks (analytical) databases.Infrastructure & Scaling: Manage application deployment, container orchestration via Kubernetes, and storage solutions on GCP, Azure.Scalability & Performance: Optimize system components for high load and scalability, leveraging RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.Leadership: Mentor engineers, facilitate technical decisions, and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 10+ years of software development experience; 2+ years in a technical leadership role.Frontend: Expert in React.js and modern JavaScript, TypeScript.Backend: Proficient in Python, building scalable APIs and microservices.Database: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with analytical databases (ideally StarRocks or ClickHouse).Infrastructure: Extensive experience with GCP, Kubernetes (k8s), and distributed system concepts.Messaging: Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.ETL: Strong experience building ETL pipelines for data processing.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Cloud Object Storage (GCP Storage).Background in data-intensive applications.p { text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1em; }ul { margin-bottom: 1em; }li { margin-bottom: 0.5em; }b { color: #333; }
