We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated JD Edwards Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in our Golden Valley, MN location. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our organization's technical systems, ensuring their efficient operation, and supporting our end-users. As a JD Edwards Business Analyst, you will represent the IT department and collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, implement enhancements, and provide valuable insights to drive innovation.

System Analysis: Assess and analyze existing IT systems, processes, and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and enhancement.
Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, addressing software and integration issues. Troubleshoot problems, diagnose root causes, and propose practical solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and IT teams to gather and document requirements for system enhancements or new technology implementations.
Solution Design: Develop comprehensive technical specifications and system design documents. Create implementation plans and coordinate with development teams for successful execution.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to ensure system reliability, functionality, and security.
Change Management: Facilitate the implementation of system changes, upgrades, and deployments. Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute change management activities, including user training, communication, and documentation.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up-to-date documentation of technical processes, procedures, and system configurations. Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives, including creating user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the IT industry. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation to enhance system performance and user experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Experience and/or Training:
A minimum of five years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on manufacturing.
Proven experience with configuration of ERP objects.
Working knowledge of SQL databases and queries.
Experience with JD Edwards E1 9.2 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, with a strong focus on Manufacturing (nice to have).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of IT systems and technologies.
Proficiency in system analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, specifically related to JDE ERP system.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to travel between sites as needed.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
This position is primarily in an office setting, with an occasional need to be in our warehouse and distribution facilities where there could be varying temperatures. The position will be a hybrid of in office and WFH as required. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
