Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Nurse Navigator for a travel assignment in an ambulatory clinic setting, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least 1 year of nurse navigation or care coordination experience.Job Details• Ambulatory clinic setting in a teaching hospital environment,• Nurse Navigator unit focused on care coordination and patient navigation,• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30),• 13-week contract,• No blocked or self-scheduling permitted,• Epic EMR used; experience required,Job Requirements• Active CA RN license required; EMSA licenses not accepted,• Current BLS certification required; CCRN preferred,• Minimum of 1 year of nurse navigation or care coordination experience in an ambulatory setting,• Med/Surg experience required; additional ambulatory experience is a plus,• Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience required,• Epic EMR experience required, must be reflected in work history,• Ability to perform minor injections (e.g., B12),• Two supervisory references required for consideration,• First-time travelers may be considered if skills are strong,Additional Information• Responsibilities include patient navigation, care coordination, and minor clinical tasks such as B12 injections,• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract is preferred,• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified after the profile has been reviewed,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate,• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been absent for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Orientation includes completion of required online modules, typically averaging 4-8 hours,• Manager interview may or may not be required; candidates must be comfortable with either outcome,
