Eby Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. This role is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work on commercial construction projects. This role focuses on detailed finish work while also supporting general carpentry and site needs as required to meet project demands.Finish Carpenters at Eby are dependable professionals who understand that quality work directly reflects our company's reputation.Position RequirementsEssential Functions:Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation proceduresInstall doors, frames, windows, trim, cabinetry, hardware, fixtures, and specialty finishesMeasure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power toolsInstall suspended ceilings, wall panels, and other interior finish systemsConstruct and modify frameworks as neededAssist with formwork and other carpentry-related tasks when requiredMaintain knowledge of OSHA regulations and adhere to all Eby safety policiesSupport general labor activities as needed to meet project schedulesMaintain a clean and organized job site Requirements:3+ years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; commercial experience a plus)Ability to read blueprints and construction documentsStrong working knowledge of hand and power toolsHigh attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work on your feet for extended periods and lift materials as required Working Conditions:Frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and overhead workConstant reaching, gripping, lifting, and use of hand toolsFrequent use of vibratory toolsFrequent work at heightsConstant exposure to outdoor weather conditionsAbility to lift:0-25 lbs: Constantly25-75 lbs: FrequentlyRequired PPE: Work boots, safety glasses, and hard hat at all times Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Volunteer Time Off (VTO)Six (6) paid holidays annuallyDiscounted memberships to the YMCA and local zooAnnual wage increasesAdditional Requirements:Following an interview and job offer, candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and provide I-9 documentation, which will be processed through E-Verify.
