Custodian, Meade St Skilled Nursing (FT Days)

DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY:Working under the direction of the Director, Environmental Services, the Custodian cleans and services the Skilled Nursing Center and office areas in a safe, efficient manner.Type of supervision exercised: none. Jobs reporting to this position: none.EDUCATION:High school graduate or equivalent preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE:Six (6) months of custodial experience is preferred.SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:Clearances required: PA State Police criminal history checkand PA Department of Aging FBI fingerprint clearance (if applicable).ACCIDENT OR HEALTH HAZARDS:Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and body substances.Occasional exposure to various chemicals and cleaning agents.WORKING CONDITIONS:Normally within office environment or health care facility.Occasional ground maintenance required as well.
