FleetShare Specialist

Working within one of Merchants Fleet’s fastest-growing programs, the FleetShare Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the future of the commercial rapid rental industry. In this role, you’ll help drive the day-to-day operations of our last-mile rental fleet—partnering with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure vehicles are rentable, utilized, and delivered efficiently. You’ll be at the center of a fast-paced, evolving operation where your ability to problem-solve, coordinate, and execute will directly impact program success and scalability.Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters – Hooksett, NH (Hybrid). Typically 1 day per week work from homeWhat Your Day Looks Like:You will:Drive Operational Execution:Support the end-to-end “rentability” lifecycle of fleet assets to ensure vehicles are ready, available, and utilizedCoordinate key workflows including transportation, vehicle allocation, offboarding, and fleet balancingPartner with field teams to support operational execution and deliver strong customer service within assigned regionsAssist in DSP (Delivery Service Provider) onboarding and enrollment effortsCoordinate Across Teams & Vendors:Collaborate with internal teams to align maintenance, repair, and readiness efforts that support vehicle utilizationWork with third-party vendors (including telematics and mobility partners) to ensure smooth operationsSupport title, registration, and compliance-related processesSupport Clients & Daily Operations:Respond to client and driver support inquiries through systems like Five9, acting as a FleetShare subject matter resourceMonitor operations, identify issues early, and take action to resolve them quicklyTrack and manage operational activity across systems and toolsImprove & Scale the Program:Help identify and document best practices to improve efficiency and consistency across the programProvide feedback on trends, challenges, and opportunities to enhance service deliverySupport cross-functional initiatives that improve scalability and performanceWhat You Bring:Experience:1+ year of experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or account supportExperience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsExposure to transportation, automotive, or logistics industries is a plusEducation: Associate’s degree requiredThe Skills You Bring:Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partnersHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to analyze information, identify issues early, and take actionComfortable working across multiple systems and data sourcesAdaptability and a bias for action in a fast-moving environmentProblem-solving mindset with a focus on outcomes and resultsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plusThe CompanyYou're invigorated by team collaboration and a fast-paced work environment.
