We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThe Manager - Facility position is responsible for overseeing sustainable facility operation, managing GLOVIS America's real estate portfolio and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The role ensures efficient building operations, energy optimization, and regulatory compliance. This position will collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of all real estate assets. The position will plan and execute CSR program and also manage company sponsored events.ResponsibilitiesSustainable Facility OperationOversee day-to-day facility operations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, civil)Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programsSupervise facility vendors and AMC contractsEnsure statutory compliance (fire safety, pollution control, building codes, labor laws)Manage housekeeping, security, landscaping, and cafeteria operationsHandle space planning and infrastructure upgradesLead emergency response and business continuity planningOptimize facility operating costs and annualDevelop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goalsMonitor and reduce energy consumption, water usage, and carbon footprintLead waste management, recycling, and circular economy programsEnsure environmental compliance with local and national regulationsDrive employee engagement programs on environmental awarenessDevelop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goalsProperty Acquisition/Portfolio ManagementAssist in managing the company's real estate portfolio, including both owned and leased properties. Monitor performance and ensure alignment with corporate objectivesAssist in the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of property acquisitions, sales, or lease transactions.
