Software Engineer - Data Analyst

## About the RoleL3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer/Data Analyst to support mission-focused technology development at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The role focuses on modernizing and migrating analytics applications into high-performance web applications using modern web technologies.The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications and cloud-based solutions while collaborating closely with system engineers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, customers, and mission stakeholders.## Key Responsibilities* Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, including user interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and data integrations.* Build modern, responsive, and intuitive front-end solutions using current web development frameworks and best practices.* Develop secure and scalable back-end services and application logic supporting mission applications and workflows.* Deploy and maintain applications in AWS with a focus on scalability, security, resilience, and cost effectiveness.* Integrate cloud-native services, databases, and application components across distributed environments.* Apply software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews, automated testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.* Collaborate with system engineers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.* Interact daily with customers to understand operational needs, gather feedback, and refine application functionality.* Prepare architectural designs, implementation plans, and technical roadmaps aligned with organizational and mission goals.* Create and maintain technical documentation covering system design, application architecture, deployment procedures, and sustainment activities.* Deliver professional presentations and technical briefings to stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable information.* Support multiple mission areas and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic operational environment.* Work with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.* Work with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or other relational and non-relational data stores.* Maintain Security+ certification or another DoD IAT Level II certification, or obtain the required certification within 6 months of accepting the position.## Required Qualifications* Active TS/SCI security clearance.* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience;
