Production AssemblerWe are working together with a leading-edge technology firm specializing in high-performance solutions for the satellite communications, aerospace, and defense sectors. Their mission is to provide precision-engineered RF and fiber optic systems that enable critical connectivity in some of the most demanding environments on (and off) the planet. With a focus on innovation and quality, they maintain a state-of-the-art production facility, where they prioritize technical excellence, ESD safety, and adherence to rigorous aerospace protocols. To support their continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Assembler to join their team. This role is vital to the assembly of sophisticated modules that utilize a combination of RF and fiber optic signals for our advanced satellite communications product line Role Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time Pay Range: $29.80 $31.70 per hour (DOE) Location: Monrovia, CA Schedule: M - F 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Assembly: Perform assembly of modules according to drawings and specifications using manual tools, power hand tools, and microscopes.Fiber Optic Integration: Efficiently cleave and splice optical fibers to produce consistent, high-quality fusion splices.Testing & Quality: Collect relevant test data results and maintain assembly equipment to ensure accurate documentation of results, anomalies, and repairs.Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting and debug activities on faulty units to bring them up to specifications.Process Improvement: Recommend workflow improvements and contribute to the development of assembly procedures and system documentation.Lab Standards: Maintain electronic laboratory protocols, including ESD safety, contamination control, and equipment handling standards.Requirements & QualificationsCompliance: U.S. Person status is required for this position to access export-controlled data.Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in fiber optic assemblies, preferably in the satellite communications industry.Technical Skills: * Proficiency in the use of solder and rework stations.Strong understanding of J-STD-001 or IPC-610 regarding PCBA assembly and acceptance.Hands-on experience with PCBAs, RF, and fiber optic connectors/interconnections.Documentation: Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, documents, and specifications.Software: Shall use Microsoft Office Suite.Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and aerospace testing protocols.Preferred: Experience working in ESD-controlled environments and advanced fiber optics splicing knowledge.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceOn-the-job trainingVision insuranceCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $29.80 - $31.70 Per Hour
