We believe in discovering individual gifts, uncovering hidden potential, and helping every person we support take on valued roles in their community.Why Join Us?A values-driven organization with over 30 years of positive impact.Opportunities for growth, training, and professional development.Competitive salary and full benefits package.A supportive culture that celebrates compassion, integrity, inclusion, and diversity.What You'll DoProvide leadership and oversight to a team of Direct Support Staff to include continuous training and support.Ensure a safe, supportive and enriching environment through hands-on modeling of the required job responsibilities to ensure a quality level of care.Ensure compliance with all Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations, agency polices, and Individual Support Plans (IP's).Continue positive communication with families/loved ones, guardians, case managers, and admin/office staff.Support individuals with goal development, skill-building, and community inclusion.Manage the scheduling of residents medical appointments with the assistance of the agency nursing services.Oversee ADP for your residential location with the support of the onsite payroll manager.Oversee the completion of Therap notes/documentation for the individuals at your location.Manage a monthly schedule for staff to adhere to with the understanding that most staff will have a set schedule that does not change.Plan activities with staff and individuals to maintain an elevated level of participation and enrichment.Full-TimeOpenings available in and around: Clinton, Old Lyme, and Waterford, CTAll of our residential locations have no more than three (3) individual's residing in themWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in a human services or residential support role.Strong leadership or team-building skills.Excellent communication skills, the ability to problem-solve, and work both independently and in a group setting.Knowledge of DDS regulations or policies.A person-centered mindset with a passion for out the box thinking.Ability to develop and implement individualized service plans.Experience working with ADP and/or Therap programs is a preferred.Must have a valid driver's license.Must have a clean background check to include, federal/state criminal checks, driving record, and DDS Abuse & Neglect registry check.The ability to use computer based systems efficiently.Must be able to write clearly and professionally.Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.CPR & First Aid certification is preferred but we will train if not already certified.PMT certification is preferred but we will train if not already certified.DDS Medication Administration Certification is preferred.Physical RequirementsMust be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, and walk for periods of time.Must be able to perform physical management techniques.Must be able to lift 30lbs as needed.Must be able to take a written or computer exam as needed.Must be able to sprint as needed.Must be able to remain awake and alert for the entirety of a scheduled shift.If you're ready to lead with heart and help others thrive, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and help us continue building brighter futures.
