The RoleFinStrat Management ("FSM") is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a client-facing Chief Financial Officer. This is a great opportunity to build a team, implement best practices, and help scale both our company and our clients.ResponsibilitiesManage FSM client engagements as a virtual Chief Financial OfficerProvide insight and recommendations related to clients' growth strategy, as well as input regarding the financial implications of major business decisionsImplement controls, frameworks, policies and systems that capture and utilize timely and accurate data across clients' business, as well as financial planning, budgets, forecasting and closing processesAnalyze clients' financial results with respect to profits, trends, cost and compliance with budgetsPresent and provide insight on financial results with a narrative on results, variances to plan, trends, and key metricsProvide leadership in the execution of financial transactions, including financing, acquisitions, facilities, and partnershipsManage cash utilization, and debt facilitates to maintain a strong foundation of liquidity for clients' growthCollaborate with clients' CRO and sales team on contracts and contract processesServe as a liaison between clients and their outside legal counselOversee clients' stock option, commission, and benefit plansDirect and support FSM staff assigned to client engagementsEnsure deliverables meet FSM's quality standardProvide five-star client serviceJob RequirementsProfessional background10+ years of financial experience with recent experience as CFO or VP of Finance at a growing SaaS or software companySolid understanding of software revenue recognition, SaaS metrics, and associated best practicesSuccess implementing and optimizing process, procedures, and infrastructure to enable scale and support growth (organic and inorganic)Experience in leading fundraising efforts, ideally at a growth stage companySoft SkillsCapable, confident leaderAbility to handle multiple client engagements simultaneouslyCommitment and ability to meet critical business deadlinesSelf-starter with strong organizational skills xevrcycExceptional attention to detailExcellent research and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and social skillsAble to receive constructive feedbackComfortable working in a dynamic environmentEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredCPA preferred but is not required (the company will reimburse exam costs following successful completion)Benefits and PerksCompensation commensurate with experienceFlexible work scheduleUnlimited vacationMedical, dental, and vision insuranceOngoing education and trainingBonuses and profit-sharingHit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.
