Tower Hand – Full-Time Position We are looking for several talented individuals seeking a career in the Telecommunications industry. Pay will be based on experience, and industry knowledge, and decided at the time of the interviewing process. Job Duties Able to work with minimal supervision (Self-Motivated) Able to read, understand and construct based on the customer detail plan including blue print drawings Must have a labor-intensive attitude Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, First Aid, CPR, etc.) Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work Review peer work product Job Requirements 5 + years of Tower Climbing required; rigging experience highly preferred Experience working on multiple carriers - TMO, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc. High school diploma or GED; Electrical (AC/DC) and/or mechanical experience preferred Current CommTrain or equivalent certification required Competent Rigger, RF Awareness, OSHA 10, First-Aid/CPR, Hazardous Communication, and Blood Borne Pathogens certification preferred Must be proficient in running CAT 5, CAT 6 & Fiber Optics Data Cable Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license Must have reliable transportation Must be drug-free Must have smart phone with hotspot accessibility Experience with Cellular Networks and equipment preferred The ability to terminate cable is a plus The ability to run conduit is a plus Strong written, verbal, and team-oriented communication skills Ability to pull trailers, and drive with a load, is a plus Ability to lead crews if foreman is unavailable Update equipment office records and installation specification to document accurate 'as built' Ability to work on ladders and demonstrated manual dexterity Ability to lift and/or carry loads of up to 40 lbs.
