If you're excited to shape the backbone of mission data flow, this is where your skills belong.What you will do in this role:Work closely with teammates and stakeholders in a Lean Agile environment to build mission-critical production applications focused on data discovery and analysisParticipate in code reviews, system design discussions, and continuous improvement initiativesLeverage modern build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and delivery speedDesign, implement, and test backend services and APIs using reactive programming concepts for production applicationsIntegrate with cloud services and data platforms to expose high-value data through secure, performant interfacesLeverage DevSecOps pipelines, containers, and modern deployment tools to deliver software efficiently and reliablyYou may thrive in this role if you have the following skills:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphExperience with source control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipeline tools such as AWS CodeBuild (preferred), Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub ActionsExperience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and OOP based software in a containerized cloud environment (AWS preferred) leveraging foundational services for computing, identity management, and networking.Experience developing backend services using Java and the Spring/Spring Boot framework (or similar relevant Java framework)Experience with testing frameworks such as Junit (preferred), Mockito, or Spring RunnerFamiliarity with API standards such as REST and HTTP, message-driven architectures, persistent storage layers, and distributed systemsEffective written and verbal communication skills necessary to perform job duties and collaborate with team membersYou may excel in this role if you have the following skills:Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana (preferred), CloudWatch, or ELK/EFKContributions to open-source libraries or community projects or personal projectsExperience with search technologies such as OpenSearch (preferred), Elasticsearch, or SolrExperience working with streaming or event-driven architectures such as SNS/SQS (preferred), Kafka, Kinesis, AWS Step Functions, or Event BridgeKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and how to leverage DevSecOps pipelines to deliver codeExposure to additional programming languages including shell scripting languages (e.g. Python, NodeJS, C#, Bash, PowerShell)BTI360 benefits for full-time teammatesFully paid healthcare premiumsCompetitive salaries and performance bonusesCareer development and in-house trainingTuition ReimbursementUp to 5 weeks PTO plus 2 weeks of federal holidays401K dollar for dollar matching up to 6% annually - vested immediately on day 1Giving Back: Serving communities locally and across the globeSocial Events (happy hours, golf tournament, BTI360 Family Festival and more)Commitment to Fairness and InclusionAt BTI360, we believe that unlocking the potential of others is not just a mission-it's the heart of our culture.
