COME BE A PART OF OUR TEAM!! **COMPETITIVE PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE Responsibilities: - Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses - Take measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit - Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and coatings based on customers' needs and preferences - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Process orders and manage inventory of eyewear products - Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment Qualifications: - Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of optical systems, including lens types, coatings, and frame materials - Familiarity with medical terminology related to ophthalmology and optometry - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for patient management - Strong sales and customer service skills - Ability to perform basic laboratory tasks, such as lens cutting and edging - Understanding of medical billing processes for insurance claims related to eyewear - Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear - Retail management experience is a plus.
