ResponsibilitiesPrepare pricing estimates, including developing a takeoff of all material and labor required for the project. This takeoff will be combined with outside vendor pricing to produce a complete project cost estimateCoordinate with the customer to help ensure we are providing a complete package with a thorough understanding of the project schedule and project-specific requirementsQualificationsBasic understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection practices including knowledge of structural shapes and general industry terminologyAbility to read and interpret construction documents including design drawings and specification documentsAbility to read shop drawings is a plusMicrosoft software applications including Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience with PDF review/editing software (Bluebeam/Acrobat)Strong Verbal and Written Communication SkillsStrong math and geometry skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks while meeting stringent deadlinesMust be detailed-oriented and have the ability to focus on given tasksBenefitsHealth InsuranceRetirement (Profit Sharing)BonusesPaid Vacation
