Content Producer — Contract RoleThe Consistency CornerContract / 1099 — 30-40 hours/month — RemoteAbout UsThe Consistency Corner is a marketing strategy and execution agency. We sit in the marketing director's chair for our clients — which means we never look at social media in a vacuum. We connect every channel to the bigger picture: brand, funnel, positioning, and growth.We're growing the team and building toward a Strategic Director / Client Lead / Content Producer model. This role is where we start.The RoleAs Content Producer, you take approved briefs and content directions and turn them into finished, scheduled, published assets across social media platforms for our clients.What you'll do:Create static posts, carousels, and reels in Canva and native platform toolsEdit and produce reels and short-form videoRefine copy from drafts — sharpen hooks, tighten CTAs, integrate keywords (not writing from scratch)Schedule content across platforms (Metricool, native schedulers)Light engagement: respond to comments, basic DM replies, community management on assigned accountsPull basic performance data for monthly reviews (no analysis required)Stay on top of LinkedIn and Instagram trends and surface what's workingWhat you won't do (at least at first):Sit on client callsBuild content strategy or calendars from scratchManage client relationships directlyWho You'll Be Producing ForOur clients are a mix of B2B, B2C, and founder-led personal brands across industries like medical, travel, branding, and more. LinkedIn is the primary channel for many, with Instagram as a strong secondary.Most of our current design production is graphic-heavy — Canva carousels, LinkedIn graphics, Instagram posts — but reel production is a meaningful piece of what we do, and growing.CompensationWe use a hybrid model that rewards efficiency:Per-deliverable rate for content production:Each post is allocated 35 minutes of production time at your agreed rateIf you finish a post in 20 minutes, you're paid the same. Speed and skill work in your favorInternal communication (Slack, async coordination) and edit/revision conversations are included in your per-post allocationHourly rate for time-driven work:Engagement and community managementInternal team calls (rhythm below)Ad-hoc project work (with prior agreement on hours)Internal call rhythm:Month 1 (onboarding): one 60-minute internal call per week to take on projects, get feedback, and refineMonth 2+ (steady-state): biweekly 30-60-minute internal calls (up to 2 hrs/month)How it flows monthly:At the start of the month, we commit to a target hours/deliverables countYou track time on hourly work; deliverables are tracked as completedPayment at end of month after work is deliveredRolling capacity check at the start of each new monthRate negotiation is part of the application process. Tell us your base hourly rate and any minimum hours you'd need.Hours, Scope & GrowthStarting hours: 30-40 per monthPhase 1 scope (now through ~September):4 active client accounts: a mix of B2B (LinkedIn-heavy) and personal brand (LinkedIn + IG)Approximately 40 posts/month total: mix of text only, graphics, and some light video. Established content calendars and brand briefs already in place — onboarding is ramping into existing systems, not building from scratchGrowth Opportunities:If you want to grow into a Client Lead role — client-facing, more strategic, higher rate — there's a clear path. We're hiring with succession in mindAs we sign new clients, Producer scope can grow (paid per deliverable + hourly above starting scope)If you have skills in adjacent areas (email production, long-form, video), those are paid as project hours when needs ariseWho We're Looking ForRequired:Strong Canva skills (graphics, carousels, branded design)Reel editing and short-form video productionConfident with LinkedIn and Instagram (current trends, what's working, platform best practices)Strong copy editing — you can refine drafts, sharpen hooks, integrate keywords without rewriting from scratchComfortable with B2B and B2C contentReliable, fast, detail-orientedStrong async communicator (Slack, Loom)Comfortable with feedback loops — you'll iterate on revisions cleanlyComfortable working with AI tools (share team projects and skills are available)Bonus skills:Email marketing - strategy, writing, building/scheduling in platform (Flodesk, Kajabi, ConvertKit, etc.)Long-form content / blogs (SEO/AEO included)Funnels and landing pagesPodcast productionPitching / PRAdditional platform expertise — Threads, TikTok, YouTubeTools we use:Canva, ClickUp, Slack, Metricool, Loom, plus AI tools as part of the workflowFirst 90 days (what success looks like):Month 1: shadow current process, learn brand briefs for assigned accounts, take over scheduled production with Strategic Director reviewMonth 2: independent production with async review only, building speed and reducing iteration cyclesMonth 3: voice training on 1-2 client accounts (you start drafting copy revisions independently).
