This Machine Shop Helper role involves material handling, shop organization, deburring, and assisting with daily production tasks. The ideal Machine Shop Helper is dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building long-term manufacturing skills. Required Experience & Skills• Ability to use basic hand and power tools• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn • Good attendance and strong work ethic • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team • Basic manufacturing or shop experience is helpful, but not required Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Assist machinists with daily production and shop tasks• Move, load, and unload raw materials and finished parts• Deburr, clean, and inspect machined parts • Operate basic shop equipment including band saws, drills, and grinders• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment• Support production flow and assist with additional duties as assigned Additional Information• Training provided - no machining experience required• Great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in manufacturing or machining careers• Opportunity to build long-term skills in a machine shop environmentWork Environment• Manufacturing and machine shop environment • Exposure to machinery, metal materials, and shop noise • Physically active role requiring lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motion• PPE required while working in production areas JobID 124655 Stand-By Personnel
