Job Title: Safety Systems EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a dedicated team as a Safety Systems Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of aviation systems. You will engage in performing system and aircraft-level safety assessments and collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure the highest safety standards are met.Responsibilities+ Perform system and aircraft-level safety assessments in accordance with ARP4761 / ARP4761A.+ Develop and maintain safety artifacts, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA / AFHA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTA), Common Cause Analyses (CCA / CMA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA).+ Support the derivation and allocation of safety aspects to system and subsystem requirements.+ Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and certification engineers to ensure safety objectives are correctly implemented.+ Provide safety analysis support for Part 23 aircraft and general aviation avionics systems.+ Participate in design reviews to evaluate safety impacts of architectural and functional changes.+ Support certification audits and data generation activities as required.Essential Skills+ Performing safety assessments under ARP4761.+ Experience creating FTA, CMA, and SSA deliverables.+ Experience in aviation or aerospace systems safety engineering.+ Experience supporting Part 23 or Part 25 aircraft programs or general aviation platforms.+ At least 3 years of hands-on experience in safety assessments under ARP4761.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience working with FAA or EASA certification projects.+ Prior exposure to avionics, flight controls, propulsion, or aircraft systems safety.+ Comfortable working in distributed, remote engineering teams.Work EnvironmentThis role offers a fully remote work environment.
