Staging Supervisor
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Staging Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily staging operations to ensure materials, components, and finished goods are accurately staged, labeled, and transferred to support production and distribution needs. This role leads a team of staging associates, drives accuracy and efficiency, enforces safety and SOP compliance, and partners closely with Production, Warehouse, Inventory, and Distribution teams to ensure on-time execution.
Job Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise day-to-day staging operations, ensuring materials are staged accurately and on schedule
Assign daily work, prioritize staging requests, and balance labor to meet production and shipping demands
Review work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and staging requests to ensure correct materials are pulled
Ensure proper labeling, identification, and transfer of staged materials between departments or warehouses
Maintain accuracy of staged materials and resolve discrepancies quickly
Track staging metrics such as accuracy, timeliness, and rework/errors
Train, coach, and develop staging team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to SOPs
Enforce safety policies and ensure all staging employees complete required safety training
Conduct performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed
Collaborate with Production, Inventory, Quality, and Distribution teams to support daily operational flow
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within staging operations
Maintain employee schedules, attendance, and daily productivity tracking
Assist hands-on in staging or warehouse activities as needed

Ability to analyze data, work orders, and inventory information
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Clear communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to course-correct in fast-paced environments
Comfortable working across multiple departments and priorities
Intermediate computer skills including MS Office, specifically Excel, warehouse systems (WMS experience preferred) and HRIS system (ADP preferred).
Required Skills and Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required
4+ years of experience in a staging, warehouse, inventory, or production lead/supervisory role
Prior experience reviewing work orders or BOMs strongly preferred
Experience leading hourly teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Ability to pass background and drug screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as required
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
