\n TheNetwork Deployment Engineersupports the installation, integration, configuration, testing, and sustainment of enterprise and tactical network solutions. This position works closely with network architects, systems engineers, project managers, logisticians, cybersecurity personnel, and customer teams to ensure deployments are completed safely, securely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved technical designs. \n

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n
\n \nInstall and configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, servers, and related network equipment.
\nExecute network deployments at customer, military, shipboard, and other operational locations.
\nConfigure VLANs, routing protocols, switching, IP addressing, VPNs, access controls, and network services.
\nPerform equipment staging, rack-and-stack, cabling, labeling, and physical installation.
\nConduct pre-deployment testing, system integration, validation, and operational checkout.
\nTroubleshoot Layer 1-3 connectivity, configuration, hardware, and performance issues.
\nFollow network architecture diagrams, implementation plans, engineering drawings, and configuration guides.
\nCoordinate deployment activities with project managers, engineers, logisticians, cybersecurity teams, and customer representatives.
\nMaintain configuration records, IP address plans, equipment inventories, test results, and as-built documentation.
\nSupport cybersecurity requirements, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance.
\nPerform system turnover, customer training, and post-deployment support.
\nIdentify deployment risks, technical issues, and schedule impacts and communicate them to project leadership.
\nSupport travel-intensive deployments lasting several days or weeks, as required.

REQUIREMENTS: \n
\n \n3-7+ years of network engineering, network administration, or field deployment experience.
\nHands-on experience with Cisco or comparable enterprise networking technologies.
\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security.
\nExperience troubleshooting network infrastructure using industry-standard tools.
\nAbility to read network diagrams, rack elevations, cable schedules, and technical implementation documentation.
\nExperience supporting DoD, Federal, maritime, tactical, or other mission-critical environments preferred.
\nFamiliarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, cybersecurity controls, and DoD network standards preferred.
\nAbility to travel frequently and work in customer or operational environments.
\nAn active Secret clearance.
\n \n
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n
\n \nCisco CCNP(Enterprise/Security) ; CCIE highly desired.
\nRed Hat or automation certifications.
\nExperience with C5I, afloat deployments, constrained bandwidth environments, SATCOM, and Cisco ISE.
