Pass a criminal background check. Pass the drug test check. Knowledge of computer systems. Duties: Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily operations of the fresh food department. Meet sales, gross, and labor goals. Schedule staff. Approve time cards. Handle employee recruitment, orientation, and training. Ensure workplace safety. Ensure customer satisfaction, employee happiness, successful vendor relations, and company profitability. Demonstrate independent decision-making daily. Follow written instructions. Perform monetary transactions. Communicate clearly with employees, customers, and vendors. Demonstrate organizational skills daily. Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds of product or equipment. Continuously lift 20 pounds of product or supplies. Stand, walk, and crouch continuously for 8 hours. Sit and use the computer for a period of 2 hours.
