Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

JOB SUMMARY: Work under the supervision of a licensed and accredited Physician/Chiropractic Physician and assists the manager to effectively run a medical practice. Holds an LMT license and may assist with injury specific myofascial therapy. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Office experience and understanding of medical terminology preferred. Licensure: State LMT License ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform Registered Chiropractic Assistant duties Provides therapy modality assistance to the physician based on the therapy Script May perform injury specific myofascial therapy to include, but not limited to trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and PNF stretching Models exceptional customer service skills Takes some general diagnostic information including blood pressure, and records this for the physician's use in the examination and treatment Control the office flow; attend to patient needs in a timely manner Abides by HIPAA laws regarding of sharing of personal medical information Responsible for accuracy and completion of paperwork Build a team atmosphere in the office Responsible for being in compliance with Joint Commission guidelines Communicate and work closely with Physicians and Office Manager Keep the office clean and presentable. Perform other related duties as required and assigned
