Physical Therapy Aide/Technician

We are looking for a young motivated student (High School or College student) to perform tech work for our clinic. This will include helping the clinic with day to day operations and helping with dynamic exercises with the clients within the rules and regulations for the State of Iowa. This is a great opportunity for a motivated student to get hands on experience with the clinic and patient care. Summary As a Physical Therapist Technician, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing essential patient care and support. With core skills in patient service, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology, you will assist in delivering quality care to patients in a clinic setting. Your skills in outpatient care, along with relevant experience in orthopedics and geriatrics, will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the rehabilitation process. Your role will involve working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and utilizing your expertise to help individuals achieve their physical therapy goals. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED - Patient care experience (preferred not needed) - Knowledge of medical terminology - Ability to work in a clinic setting - Familiarity with patient service - Understanding of physiology and anatomy - Previous experience in an outpatient or clinic environment Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship, PRN Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 per week Medical Specialty: Orthopedics Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Sports Medicine Work Location: In person
