Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness in assigned campus buildings, including classrooms, offices, and restroomsUse cleaning chemicals in accordance with established safety guidelinesFollow proper procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.RequirementsAbility to clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other assigned areas.Willingness to work with cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.Ability to notify a supervisor of any concerns related to chemical exposure or workplace safety.Ability to learn and safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery.Strong attention to detail and consistency.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Demonstrate professionalism when working around students, staff, and campus facilities.Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 8am to 5pmTotal: Up to 40 hours per week for the Spring Break 2026Assigned AreasCampus Buildings in BYU - HawaiiBase Rate Per Hour:16.00
