Dental Assistant

**Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our dental professionals, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in providing quality patient care. **Duties** - Assist the dentist and hygienists during dental procedures, including preparing and maintaining patient records. - Monitor vital signs and perform other administrative tasks as needed. - Support the front office with tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient communications. - Utilize a 3D scanner to capture accurate images for patient records. - Maintain a clean and organized dental environment, adhering to strict infection control standards. - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. - Provide medical documentation for patient records. - Assist with prosthodontics and other dental procedures as needed. - Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records and scheduling. - Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality at all times. **Requirements** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of a dental assisting program or on-the-job training. - Current certification or licensure as a dental assistant. - Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with Eaglesoft software. - Knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new dental techniques and technologies. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
