Job Title: Hardware Validation Engineer Location: Mountain View, CA Client Overview This role sits within a global electronic design automation and semiconductor IP company's hardware engineering team, supporting FPGA based prototyping platforms used to validate next generation chip designs before they go to silicon. Top 3 Skills FPGA prototyping hardware validation Hardware lab setup and equipment maintenance Technical documentation What You'll Do Validate and sanity check existing FPGA prototyping designs on hardware Migrate and optimize existing FPGA prototyping designs across the company's hardware platforms Create and edit technical user documentation Work in the lab to conduct hardware experiments, including maintaining setups and equipment Establish personal timetables based on task assignments Support the related project goals of other engineers on the team What We Need From You Experience validating FPGA based hardware prototyping designs Comfortable working hands on in a hardware lab environment, including setup and equipment maintenance Able to migrate and optimize existing designs across multiple hardware platforms Strong technical writing skills for creating and maintaining documentation Able to manage your own schedule and task priorities independently Preferred / Bonus Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus Background supporting semiconductor or EDA product development About Elevait Elevait Solutions was founded by veterans who believe that how you treat people is the only thing that actually matters in this industry.
