DescriptionAs a Project Field Engineer specializing in Commercial and Structural Construction, you will focus on the administration of field office duties to ensure both project profitability and adherence to schedules. Your expertise will play a critical role in various aspects of project management throughout California, especially within LA County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.ResponsibilitiesPerform all normal and customary Project Engineer duties.Utilize Project Management Software (Prolog, Procore, or equivalent).Comprehend budget and cost reports, including quantities and labor hours.Conduct quantity takeoffs.Prepare, review, and maintain RFIs and associated logs.Prepare, review, and maintain submittals and associated logs.Maintain as-built drawings and ensure timely submissions from subcontractors.Read and comprehend contract documents, plans, and specifications.Prepare and maintain transmittals.Assist Superintendent and Project Manager in maintaining project schedules.Prepare and submit notifications to owners and/or subcontractors.Set up and maintain project files, ensuring contemporaneous updates.Assist in evaluating RFIs and providing solutions.Maintain procurement logs and track long lead items.Gather information and update weekly labor budget reports.Prepare and maintain extra work authorizations (EWAs).Attend weekly meetings, prepare, and distribute accurate meeting minutes.Review and prepare change order requests with equitable adjustment worksheets (EAWs).Take job site photos and maintain them on the company server.Compile closeout documents and fulfill other project-specific requirements.Prepare and execute punch-list work with necessary sign-offs and verifications.Complete other assignments as directed.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on large structural projects ranging from \(10 to \)35 million.Must have previous experience working for a large commercial structural construction company.Must be onsite daily in Woodland Hills unless otherwise directed.BenefitsAnthem BlueCross PPO Platinum medical (Employer pays 100% of the employee's premium).Delta Dental.Vision plan (employee's expense).Paid Time Off (5 days in the first year, 10 days in the second year, as defined in the Employee Manual).3 Paid Sick Days.9 Paid Federal Holidays.Bereavement Pay.401K.Pay dependent on experience (DOE).Work ScheduleFull-time position, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.Relocation to Woodland Hills, CA, required before starting work.Employment Type: Full-Time
