In order to support our growth plans in the United States we are currently looking for reinforcement for our team in California. We’re hiring a Field service engineer (Fresno-Turlock-Modesto area) THE JOB You’re responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining the equipment at our customer facilities according to the specifications. Partly you can solve issues by phone but most of the time you will go on site After installing the sorting machine you give technical training and education to your client on how to set-up the machine, use it and fix first line failures. You also give advice on how to maintain the machine You share your field experiences regarding bottlenecks and how to fix them with your service and engineering colleagues You’re also responsible for the administrative processing of the work performed and you write work instructions if necessary You report to the service coordinator YOUR PROFILE Work location: California Home location: preferably situated around Fresno Experience level: 5 years of experience as (service) technician. Experience in machinery is an asset Diploma: technical high school diploma or GED, associates or bachelor’s degree in a comparable mechanical or electronical field or equal by experience Working hours: flexible schedule in day shift. Travel frequency: about 140 days/year in the field. Experience with travelling is a big plus Languages: English (excellent).
