Position Summary Voltec LLC is seeking an experienced Journeyman / Lead Electrician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated electrician with strong commercial experience who can work independently, read plans accurately, and produce high-quality installations that meet code and project standards. Key Responsibilities Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems on commercial and high-end residential projects Bend and install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit (hand benders, mechanical, and hydraulic) Install and terminate: Panelboards and distribution panels Switchgear and transformers Branch circuits, feeders, and service equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-lines Perform work in compliance with NEC and local AHJ requirements Coordinate with project managers, foremen, inspectors, and other trades Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Follow all safety protocols and company standards Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience Strong background in commercial electrical installations Proficient in conduit bending and layout Solid knowledge of: Panelboards and switchgear Commercial and residential NEC requirements Ability to read and understand electrical plans and schedules Experience working on active construction sites Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications California Journeyman Certification Experience with: Medical TI Office / retail TI High-end custom residential projects Leadership or foreman experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady work across Southern California Opportunity for advancement into lead or foreman roles Professional, well-organized company with long-term growth plans How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief description of your experience.
